Bosko the Great

by Shon Peterson

If I had to give a slogan for this next artist, it would have to be, "Noone does it better." This 30 year old veteran has been in the game for over a decade now. His rhythmic tones and intensifying sounds can be heard on some of the best independent pioneer's albums. No longer, sitting in the back seat, stuffed in the cut, Bosko Kante has emerged.

Bosko is regarded as one of the West Coast top 5 producers and has laced artist such as E-40, W.C., Kurupt, Junior Mafia, DBA, Mr. D.O.G., G.O.T.M., the Click, and more. He also did some of the musical production on the hit show "In Living Color."

But what even makes this talented producer that much more of a stronger force is the fact that he is a great rapper and can carry a note beautifully. He has song many hooks for various artist including long time friend and label mate, Cool Nutz and his savage lyrics can't be caught on many NW releases.

Now signed to Universal via the group, DBA (Cool Nutz, Bosko, & Poppa LQ), Bosko is getting his just dues. If you in this game (Hip Hop), this is one man you want to have on your side.

When did you first get involved in music? And what did you do first, play instruments, or sing?

Who was your inspiration?

What was your first project? And how did it do?

Most people would start feeling comfortable where you are. What motivates you to try to reach the next level?

I also heard that you had a role in an independent movie. Is this so?

What was the name of the movie? And did it make the big screen?

Who else have you produced for that we haven't already mentioned?

You have some tracks that are just off the chains on the DBA album. Which one is your favorite?

When is it scheduled to drop?

How do you feel about the independent rap game? And what do you think alot of indies are doing wrong, nowadays?

Why What other projects do you have your mitts in?
