Best Song: "Destroy & Rebuild"

Worst Song: "My Country"

Nas has definitely released his hottest album in years. He goes back to his roots on this one to come with tracks that I can get my groove on to. I'm feeling his delivery on this. It's a shame he had to get massacred on wax in order to do it though. (If this is the outcome, he should get dissed more often).

To get right into it, "Destroy & Rebuild"...Love it. Gotta be the hottest joint on here. Baby Paul comes with a blazin beat and Nas works his wonders. Chopping up long time friends Prodigy, Cormega, and Nature. Song is hot. Only thing wrong, is not in the delivery, but in the message. How you gonna diss somebody in a song then try to sugar coat why you dissed them?

"Ether" the reply to Jay-Z. It's hot. After that blow from Jay-Z, I didn't even expect this good of a comeback. But short of a win, Nas gives you another hot track.

"One Mic" is another track that sticks in my head. The change up in the beat throughout the song is tight. And the delivery is reminiscent of a Tupac song. (Tupac= greatness)

"Rewind" is one of those tracks where an artist can showcase his skills. Here Nas tells you a story in reverse and that is gotta definitely be original. It is also tight.

I also liked "Got UR self a...," "2nd Childhood," & "the flyest," are also quality tracks which deserve a repeat in the deck.

Besides a track or two, this album could've have easily been a 5 star Lp. Nas aka Escobar showed that he's not gonna tuck his tail for Jay-Z or any other artist.

Even with his passion of wanting to be Tupac, Nasir can still drop a good album when motivated. Cop this joint if you got a little extral
